About RSG-Türkiye
Our Mission
ISCB SC RSG-Türkiye has become a paramount student initiative, organizing events that contribute to the developing computational biology and bioinformatics society in Türkiye. We organize student symposiums attracting undergraduate and graduate students since 2012. Being less formal and more student-focused than HiBiT, our symposiums provide a platform where students can actively participate, present their work, and connect with researchers.

11th RSG-Türkiye Student Symposium
📍 Istanbul
The 11th edition brought together undergraduate and graduate students with leading researchers in clinical bioinformatics, nanoscale drug delivery, and NGS workflows. Highlights included a panel on clinical bioinformatics startups and a hands-on Nextflow workshop.
10th RSG-Türkiye Student Symposium
📍 Ankara
The 10th edition featured keynotes on big data in bioinformatics, computational imaging, and dental informatics, along with student talks and poster sessions.
9th RSG-Türkiye Student Symposium

The 9th edition of the RSG-Türkiye Student Symposium continued the tradition of bringing together students and researchers in computational biology and bioinformatics.

The 8th edition was held online due to the pandemic, demonstrating RSG-Türkiye's commitment to maintaining the scientific community during challenging times.
